my story

I grew up in a broken home and struggled throughout my school years, facing adversity from an early age. I often felt like a square peg in a round hole with no academic ability. This feeling often led me to act in undesirable ways, as a way of deflecting from the reality that I didn't know how to thrive in my environment. 

Seeking purpose and discipline, I joined the military, where I served an operational tour in Afghanistan. That experience was both harrowing and transformative, challenging me in ways I never expected and shaped my understanding of resilience and inner strength. 

Following the military, life threw even more challenges my way. My relationship broke down, and I faced a significant loss of self worth. There were times when I found myself sofa surfing, bouncing from job to job, and feeling completely unmoored. I was rock bottom. I made some wrong choices, decisions that could have broken my world entirely. I was a lone wolf, but not broken. 

Then came some major health challenges: a lumbar spinal fusion. This operation forced me to relearn how to move and use my body, demanding patience and determination as I rebuilt my strength from the ground up. A few years later, I underwent brain surgery—a procedure so serious it could have cost me my life. Facing the possibility of not waking up, I confronted fear and uncertainty head-on.

At all critical crossroads, I made a conscious decision to question the reason why things were happening for me and not to me. Instead of sinking into depression, I chose to focus on positivity, hope, and growth. I learnt to believe in myself, even when others didn’t. That small but powerful shift in mindset became the foundation for an unbreakable resilience.

My coaching methods

As a life coach, I draw directly from my lived experience. I believe that everyone has the capacity for change, even if it’s just a one-degree shift at first. My approach is rooted in empathy, active listening, and practical strategies tailored to each individual’s journey. 


I work with clients to help them uncover their own self-belief, guiding them to recognise their strengths and rewrite their stories. Together, we set achievable goals, build resilience, and develop tools for lasting change. 


My coaching is about empowering others to break free from past thoughts, overcome obstacles, and create lives filled with meaning and strength—no matter where they’re starting from.


My story is living proof that even the toughest challenges can be transformed into hope—and that sometimes, changing your direction by just one degree can change your entire life.
